Our Researchers

Congratulations to all of our new 2017 research grant recipients

Every year, since 1967, we’ve assembled a collective force of outstanding researchers. We back each of them with essential funds to investigate their ground breaking ideas to find a cure for cancer. We fund the smartest researchers early in their careers, when different ideas and challenging perspectives burn brightest. Some of Australia’s most renowned cancer specialists received their start with seed funding from Cure Cancer Australia, including Professors Carolyn Mountford, Robyn Ward and Andrew Biankin.

Their pioneering work was regarded as left-field at the time, but it is now central to the way we treat cancer. Without our funding, they cannot do this work. Without public support, we don’t have funds to invest. More donations mean more researchers, more research and more chance of breakthroughs.
