Here's how to get involved in 3 easy steps!
Decide on the type of BarbeCURE® you'd like to host.
Remember, a BarbeCURE® can be anything you want it to be. Big, small or virtual. You can host it in your backyard with your nearest and dearest, or you can turn it into a lavish black-tie affair. You could make your work Christmas team lunch a virtual BarbeCURE®, or perhaps take advantage of the great Australian summer and get your family and close friends together down at the beach!
When it comes to your menu, you could opt for anything from a traditional Aussie barbecue, a BYO picnic or even an afternoon tea – all that matters is that you’re bringing people together to have fun and fund research.

Register your event
One of the best ways to get the fundraising ball rolling is to register your event. That way, you can set a fundraising goal, update your bio with information about why you have chosen to host a BarbeCURE® and share a link to your fundraising page with all of your guests.
If you’d prefer, you can also fundraise offline and bank your funds after the event. Whatever you decide, our Fundraising Team are on hand to help you through the process. Just give them a call on 1300 134 567 or email community@curecancer.com.au.
Invite your guests
Now that you’ve decided on the type of BarbeCURE® you want to host, set a date and registered your event, it’s time to spread the word and let all your guests know! Make sure you make the most of all our online resources and free party printables, and don’t forget to check out our merchandise so you can look the part on the day!
