Barbecued Corn on the Cob

Feeds 6 people


  • 6 large corn cobs, husk on
  • 3 tbs extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbs lime juice
  • 1 tbs honey


  1. Peel husks back and remove the silks. Pull the husks back over the corn. Put corn into a sink cold water, stand 5 minutes. 
  2. Preheat barbecue grill on medium heat. Barbecue corn in the husk, turning often for 10 minutes. Peel back the husks, barbecue a further 8-10 minutes turning often until tender and lightly charred. 
  3. Remove to a tray. Whisk oil, lime juice and honey together until well combined. Brush corn with oil mixture, season well with salt and pepper. Serve.
