Cure Cancer Australia 2018/19 Funding Round Open
The 2018/19 funding round for Cure Cancer Australia grants is now open, via the the Cancer Australia Priority-driven Cancer Research Scheme.
Cure Cancer Australia will offer grants in ANY field of cancer research, purely on the basis of excellence, to any researcher up to 7 years postdoctoral. If you are not eligible, please consider whether you should encourage a member of your team or a collaborator to apply.
Cure Cancer Australia offers these sole-investigator grants to kick start the careers of early-career researchers. The success rate for applications for our grants is much higher than for an NHMRC project grant!
There are 3 categories:
- One year grants for people 1-3 years postdoctoral
- Two year grants for people 4-7 years postdoctoral
- One year grants for bioinformatics in cancer for people 1-7 years postdoctoral
Further information is available on the PdCCRS website here. All documents may be downloaded from the GrantConnect website.
The first task for an applicant to do is to register as a young investigator (even if only "young" in research) by January 24.
Anyone interested in applying should read our "Guidelines to the Guidelines" on our website.
