Pancreatic Cancer

Pancreatic cancer occurs when malignant cells develop in part of the pancreas, and can occur in any part of the pancreas.

Pancreatic cancer occurs in males and females. It is estimated that in 2017, 3,271 new cases of pancreatic cancer (1,722 males and 1,548 females) will be diagnosed, making it the tenth most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia.
