Did you know you can donate shares and dividends?

Smaller shares can sometimes be more hassle than they’re worth. Selling them can cost as much or more than their actual value, but by donating the shares you can put them to excellent use and simplify your portfolio.

Cure Cancer is happy to partner with ShareGift to make donating shares and dividends easy and tax efficient for you. Because ShareGift is a charity themselves, there are no brokerage fees.

If the value of the shares or dividends is $200 or more, you can nominate Cure Cancer to receive the value.

Simply use the ShareGift donation form for shares or dividends and nominate Cure Cancer to receive your donation.

You’ll also receive a receipt from ShareGift to use for tax purposes.

Please note that all shares held in Australian publicly listed companies may be sold.
