Sydney Airport Runway Run Terms and Conditions
Sydney Airport Corporations Limited is the event owner for the Sydney Airport Runway Run event.
Cure Cancer Australia Foundation is the charity of choice for the Sydney Airport Runway Run event November 2017.
By registering to participate in the Sydney Airport Runway Run event, the participant acknowledges and agrees to be responsible for all the risks and responsibilities associated with the event and irrevocably releases Cure Cancer Australia Foundation from any and all claims (including third party claims) for any damage, loss, cost, expense or injury whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the event.

The participant agrees to the following as conditions of participating in The Sydney Airport Runway Run ("Event").
The participant agrees to enter the Event at their own risk. The participant will take all reasonable measures to protect themselves from the risks of participation. The participant accepts all responsibility for travel and personal medical insurance and for payment and/or reimbursement of medical/surgical expenses incurred as a result of their participation in the Event.
The participant is responsible for all property they bring to the Event sites and acknowledges that Sydney Airport Corporations Limited, the event owner, (SACL) accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to this property.
The participant consents to the conducting identity verification checks, background security checks and any other security checks (which may include inspecting personal property) prior to entry to and / or departure from any Events site. The participant agrees to complete the required pre-event special event zone safety and emergency management brief and any other documentation as directed by SACL.
The participant agrees that it will indemnify and keep indemnified Sydney Airport, its officers, employees and agents, against all damage, expense, loss or liability, including all losses, consequential losses, damages, compensation, costs (being Sydney Airport own or its solicitor’s costs), charges, and expenses suffered or incurred in respect of any personal injury (including death) to any person or any damage to any real or personal property, arising in respect of the activities of the participant, to the extent that is due to any act or omission (whether negligent or otherwise) of the participant, its employees, subcontractors or agents.
The participant also agrees to make good any damage, however caused to property during the approved activities.
The participant consents to the publication and/or use in any form of media whatsoever of their name, image, voice, statement or otherwise, including the publication of their name in /or marketing materials/website without payment or compensation.
The participant agrees that to the best of their knowledge, is not suffering from a condition which would prevent and/or render me unfit to participate in the Event.
The participant understands entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable. If the Event is cancelled for safety concerns or otherwise as a result of something beyond the reasonable control of SACL and including and without limitation strong winds, heavy rain, excessive atmospheric pollution, lightening and accidents, or any other Act of God, the participant accepts that the entry fee will be non-refundable.
The participant consents to the publication and/or use in any form of media whatsoever of my name, race result, image, voice, statement or otherwise, including the publication of my name and/or event result and applicable age bracket in /or marketing materials/website without payment or compensation.
