THE MAGIC SUNsCREEN

A book by Samantha Brett

Cure Cancer are delighted to be partnering with best-selling author and journalist Samantha Brett to launch her new book The Magic Sunscreen.

Sam struggled getting her 3 year old daughter to wear sunscreen. But as a stickler for sun protection, she knew something needed to be done.

So, she wrote "The Magic Sunscreen" and reads it to her daughter every single day. Soon enough, she started wanting to wear sunscreen, and even putting it on all by herself!

The magic was born. Now we're releasing it for you. For all those parents with loveable mini humans who hate sunscreen.

Sadly Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world. This is due largely to our climate, the fact that many of us have fair skin that isn’t really suited to such harsh conditions, our proximity to the equator (high UV levels) and our social attitudes and love for the outdoors. At least 2 in 3 Australians will be diagnosed with some form of skin cancer before the age of 70.

Join our mission to educate the younger generation on the importance of skin care and sun protection. 25% of each purchase of the book will go towards funding a future melanoma researcher.

I am so thrilled to be partnering with Cure Cancer on this project who provide life-changing research to change the lives of millions.
