Donating shares, made easy
Smaller shares can sometimes be more hassle than they’re worth. Selling them can cost as much or more than their actual value, but by donating the shares you can put them to excellent use and simplify your portfolio.
Cure Cancer is happy to partner with ShareGift to make donating shares and dividends easy and tax efficient for you. Because ShareGift is a charity themselves, there are no brokerage fees.
If the value of the shares or dividends is $200 or more, you can nominate Cure Cancer to receive the value.
Simply use the ShareGift donation form for shares or dividends and nominate Cure Cancer to receive your donation.
You’ll also receive a receipt from ShareGift to use for tax purposes.
Please note that all shares held in Australian publicly listed companies may be sold.
How your donation supports vital cancer research

This year, we committed to funding 13 innovative new research projects across 10 different cancers. With your donation, we aim to fund new ways of tackling all cancers as quickly as we can - by improving prevention, detection and screening, diagnostic tools, and treatments, and ultimately saving lives.

Your monthly donation
Every dollar matters, but when you make a regular donation, even if it’s a small amount, your impact builds up over time.
Continued funding means we can plan ahead and commit to long-term research projects that have the biggest impact to help cure cancer.
As a regular giver, you will receive regular updates on the progress and success of the research projects you have helped to fund.
