The Challenge
Swim for a CURE is a Cure Cancer fundraising initiative running from 1 to 31 March 2024.
We accept no responsibility or liability for an individual’s health or safety in participating in this swim challenge event. Participants undertaking this challenge acknowledge that they are in proper physical condition to participate in this activity, and should this change, they will immediately discontinue participation in the challenge. If participants have any specific health or medical concerns, they should consult with their medical or healthcare provider prior to undertaking the challenge. Tips and information included on this site should not replace or be used as an alternative to medical advice from a doctor or other healthcare provider. Rewards & Incentives
To receive a Swim for a CURE reward or incentive you must be registered to participate in the fundraising challenge between 1-31 March 2024. Fundraisers must provide a delivery address when requested in order to receive fundraising rewards. Cure Cancer may supply fundraisers details to sponsors for the purpose of supplying rewards. Below is the list of rewards and criteria to receive these prizes.
- Receive a donation within 48 hours of registration to be sent a Cure Cancer swimming cap.
- The first forty registered participants to fundraise over $200 will be sent a Budgy Smuggler's Bucket hat.
- The ten participants that receive the highest value of donations between 1-3 March will be sent a Seeking Summer sand free towel.
- The top three individuals who have raised the most amount of funds at the end of the challenge will recieve an Okanui beach towel & trucker cap.
- All members of the three fundraising teams with the highest totals at the end of the challenge will receive a $50 WAHU Voucher.
- Participants that share their fundraising page social media, tag us and fundraise between 29 March - 1 April will receive a piece of jewellery from our sponsors, State of Mind. This incentive is limited to 40 pieces of jewellery. If we have more than 40 participants we will offer them an incentive of equal value.
