Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes. All donations over $2 are tax deductible. Cure Cancer has DGR1 status and is a registered charity with the ACNC

How can I update my regular donation?

If you need to make changes to your regular donation, we’d be happy to help. Get in touch with us via our Contacts page 

 How do I obtain a receipt?

All donations and sponsorships over $2 are fully tax deductible. If you make a one-off donation online, your receipt will be emailed to you automatically. If you make a one-off donation via mail or over the phone, you will receive a tax receipt either by email or in the mail within 1-2 weeks. If you are a regular donor and set up monthly payments, you will receive a consolidated tax receipt covering all your donations during that financial year in late July each year. 

Can I donate to research for a specific cancer type?

Click log in in the top right corner of the home page. Use the email address you used when you signed up (the one that we use to contact you). If you have forgotten your password click ‘forgot password’ and we will send you a reset link. If you are still unable to log in please contact us and we will do our best to help you.  

How can I set up a fundraising page?

You can choose how you want to fundraise for Cure Cancer and set up a fundraising page here. 

Can I fundraise at school?

Absolutely! We have lots of great fundraising initiatives that you can do at school. You can host a BarbeCURE, Brave it for a CURE with a crazy hair day or come up with your own event. Visit our fundraising page to register or for more ideas. 

Can I fundraise at work?

Every workplace is different, which is why we’ve created a variety of different opportunities to fundraise at work. You can host a BarbeCURE, set up workplace giving, get a team together to run in an event or come up with your own challenge. Ask you workplace if they are interested in matched giving. Contact us or visit our fundraising page to register or for more ideas. 

How do I make a Bequest?

When you include Cure Cancer in your Will you will be leaving the gift of a better future – one that we hope is cancer free. For more information visit our bequest page.

Fitness

How do I receive a Cure Cancer Running Singlet?

Sign Up to fundraise in any fitness event. Once you’ve raised $50, our team will send you your Cure Cancer Singlet. Keep driving those donations - you’ll receive a free Cure Cancer cap when you hit $100! Don’t forget to send us pictures of you wearing your merch at the event! 

How can I coordinate a team to fundraise for a fitness event?

Game on Cancer®

What is Game On Cancer®?

Game On Cancer® is an initiative within Cure Cancer that aims to unite the gaming industry to support Cure Cancer’s mission. The Game On Cancer® team within Cure Cancer works with gaming brands, creators, influencers, esports organisations and agencies to fundraise for cancer research via online fundraising campaigns and physical events across Australia. Can companies or brands support Game On Cancer®?

100%! There are a variety of ways your company can support cancer research via Game On Cancer®, including donating products and prizes to different campaigns, fundraising amongst your staff and community and even sponsoring a fundraising team. Reach out to the Game On Cancer® team at gaming@curecancer.com.au and they’ll be happy to discuss more. 

If I am a gamer or content creator how can I support Game On Cancer®?

You can fundraise for any of the Game On Cancer® fundraising events on Tiltify by signing up and going live to your community. If you have any questions about upcoming and current events and how to start fundraising, join the Game On Cancer® Discord or reach out to gaming@curecancer.com.au and the team will be happy to help. 

Do I have to be a gamer or content creator to support Game On Cancer?

Not at all! You can always make a tax-deductible donation to any of our campaigns, purchase a Game On Cancer t-shirt or volunteer at a gaming event. Be sure to follow Game On Cancer on social channels to see how you can get involved.
