Your Donation Matters

In 2020, 145,483 cases of cancer are estimated to be diagnosed in Australia. That’s an increase of over 1,000 people diagnosed in 2019. Every one of those undergoing, or about to undergo, treatment for cancer will be acutely aware of the increased threat they face from COVID-19.

Their dependency on your generosity cannot be underestimated. help change the outcome of cancer in Australia.

Our researchers won’t stop

Although many of our researchers are still attending their institutes, their work is already being severely disrupted, with important conferences both locally and overseas either cancelled or postponed.

They are determined to continue with their crucial work for as long as it is safe to do so.

Many workforces are splitting into teams to minimise potential spread of infection and prevent the complete closure of labs.

They are making plans to ensure they can work from home in the event of an institute/hospital closure.

Resources are thinly stretched, which is why we need the support of our donors to ensure life-saving cancer research is not disrupted.

You can help directly and immediately by donating to support cancer researchers in Australia.
