What can I do to take part?
Stream, host a game night, run a tabletop session, cosplay for a cause, collect or trade for fundraising, or start a community challenge.
Do I need to be a big streamer or creator?
No. Any size community can make an impact, and we’ll help you make it easy.
Do I have to stream to get involved?
Not at all. Streaming is a big part of Game on Cancer®, but you can also fundraise offline. Host a game night, auction off a limited edition poster, or run a marathon with your DND group - all of these are real examples of what people in our community have done to raise funds for cancer research.
Can I just donate instead?
Yes. You can donate directly or support a creator’s fundraiser.
Where does the money go?
Funds help power bold cancer research ideas, supporting real research costs like lab time, specialist tools, and equipment.
Do you have resources I can use?
Yes. Download the Game on Cancer toolkit for logos, overlays, templates, and guides.
Are there volunteer opportunities?
Yes. We have volunteer roles at events and community activations, plus opportunities to help behind the scenes.
