Host a BarbeCURE® today

Host a BarbeCURE® with your workplace

Nothing brings people together like a BarbeCURE®, so this summer turn your next employee engagement event into a BarbeCURE® – an Aussie Barbie that raises money for cancer research.

With hybrid and remote working arrangements becoming the new post-pandemic normal, we need to stay connected. Cure Cancer’s BarbeCURE® offers a fun and engaging way of reconnecting with your colleagues, partners or stakeholders and bonding over a shared experience of giving.

So, host a BarbeCURE® event, unite your teams for a good cause and have a good time.

Secure your spot early and register your company's BarbeCURE® for the chance to have an exclusive masterclass with one our BarbeCURE® ambassadors.

Your corporate impact

The money you raise from your BarbeCURE® will help fund 2 years of Dr Ben Wylie's vital new research on childhood sarcoma, which aims to prevent the recurrence of cancer after surgery.

Your support will help to develop safer and more effective treatments for young sarcoma warriors, who deserve a renewed hope for life.

Our charity is 100% funded by personal and corporate donations just like this one. Each donation over $2 is tax deductible and will go a long way in helping us cure cancer. Together, we know we can.

Keeping it legal

Cure Cancer’s own insurance won’t cover your event or your participants, so please make sure everyone is covered. Be aware of any insurance requirements if you’re hosting a BarbeCURE® on private property like a home, office or apartment building. Check to see if any games of chance or skill need to be registered and/or supervised by official observers. If you’re hosting a BarbeCURE® outdoors, you may also need approval if you’re using public grounds or blocking off traffic for your route. You will have to recruit First Aid wardens for public physical events – your local ambulance volunteers may be available to help here. We’re here to help in any way we can, so reach out if you need a hand with legal, planning or fundraising tips.
