Be Inspired
Growing up, Eva Harris was always close to her mum. But in September 2022, her family received devastating news. Eva’s mum had been diagnosed with cancer. Treatment began immediately, but within a few months, the cancer had become aggressive. The family were able to spend one last weekend together celebrating Mother’s Day before Eva’s mum was moved to hospice care, passing away on July 6th 2023.

Since then, Eva has dedicated her time to finding ways to honour her beloved mum. The pair loved being in the water, so Cure Cancer’s Swim for a Cure seemed like the perfect fit. Last year Eva took on the swim challenge and raised over $4,500 for crucial cancer research.  🙏🏻🏊♀️💕
“Cancer affects so many people, impacting families, friends, and loved ones. Supporting cancer research is the only way we can change that.” – Eva
You can read more about Eva on our blog.
