I am swimming for a CURE

This March, I am making a splash for cancer research. Cure Cancer’s Swim for a CURE is a swimming fundraiser where every stroke counts in the mission to help fund vital cancer research. Just $75 funds one hour of life-saving cancer research.

Back in the Swim😊🏊‍♀️

Wednesday 11th Feb
After 7 months on my own bowel cancer journey after emergency surgery in July 2025, I’m finally nearing the end of 12 rounds of chemotherapy. It’s been a rough journey but with a day by day focus and the amazing  support of my oncologist, specialist nursing support team, stoma nurses, and the fantastic crew in the Illawarra Cancer Care Unit, I am feeling positive for my future to live a cancer free life💙 Today loved being back in the Continental Pool swimming laps. Very motivated to regain my fitness and if can help raise some funds for cancer research it’s a Win Win🫶
