As members of BHCC we count it a privilege to raise monies for Cure Cancer
When Bruce and I started with the BHCC in 2011 we had no knowledge of the workings of Cure Cancer and how it provides an opportunity for early career-minded researchers to put their ideas to work.
We have since then been to every BHCC Cure Cancer Event and also attended external functions at Researcher labs; Government House and Kirribilli to celebrate the successes of both Cure Cancer and the researchers.
Ten years ago, cancer, in any way shape or form had not been within our circle of family and friends - but how different is that story now - in the past years we have lost a brother, dear friend and father, and had family and friends benefit from research in managing treatment.
We all know someone effected by cancer. This is one way we can help.. Research will provide opportunity to develop ideas. Get on board and let's all play a part
