What we do

We are dedicated to backing brave thinking and  kick-starting new ideas. We fund groundbreaking cancer research from brilliant scientists to save millions of lives.

Our community of researchers, fundraisers and partners share our mission to take on every cancer, working together to find the most impactful solutions in record time. Driven by bold ambition, we ask:

What if we cure cancer?

We know we can.

Who we are

Cure Cancer's passionate, innovative and talented teams - including employees, volunteers, CEO, Board members, and ambassadors - make it possible for us to kick-start new ideas to accelerate cancer research that has the potential to cure cancer.

Since 1967, Cure Cancer has been dedicated to funding cancer research, a mission that began when two families created trusts in memory of their loved ones, Jenny and Leo, who were lost to leukaemia. These trusts came together in 1985 to form the Leo and Jenny Leukaemia and Cancer Foundation, which became Cure Cancer in 2002. Today, Cure Cancer continues this legacy by supporting early-career researchers with bold, innovative ideas to advance research across all cancer types.

Every donation counts

We take responsibility for using resources efficiently, achieving measurable results, and being accountable to supporters, partners, researchers and patients.
