You can still make an impact to breast cancer research
Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you we have raised more than $21,000 for vital breast cancer research.
A special thanks to our incredible supporter that has kindly pledged to match donations until Oct 31*.
Matched giving is now closed but you can still make a donation to support breast cancer research initiatives and help cure cancer and improve the lives of patients.
Did you know that 1 in 7 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime? This staggering statistic is more than just a number - it's a reality that countless women face every day.
Among them is Katrina Lau Hammond, a brave mother-of-two living with metastatic breast cancer. Though she lives with a terminal illness, Katrina is determined to make the most of life with her family. She feels a lot of sadness and uncertainty for her young children. But with the promise of effective treatments, there is still a glimmer of hope.
Cure Cancer is committed to backing the most brilliant ideas and boldest new projects in breast cancer research
to help people like Katrina. But we can't do this alone. We need your support.
Your gift will ensure that women like Katrina are still here to tell their story, to cherish every precious moment with their loved ones, and to inspire others with their courage and resilience.
*This opportunity initially ran from 6th to 9th October, and has now been extended to 31st October.

"Each time my cancer has progressed and spread to other parts of my body, I have been fortunate that cancer research has provided me with another line of treatment, so that I can continue to fight and be there for my children... These young scientists represent our future and the hope that there is a cure for cancer."
— Katrina Lau Hammond, mother, author and breast cancer survivor

"Having the opportunity to work on real patients’ data reminds me that these aren’t just numbers; behind each number there is a real patient in need. This project could really make a difference and benefit so many. Helping patients to find a cure is the ultimate goal for researchers like myself, and I’ll do my best to achieve that."
— Dr Niantao Deng, breast cancer researcher
and Cure Cancer grant recipient
