In 2006 Mum fought for 5 months after her cancer diagnosis.
10 years later Dad was diagnosed.
Although he was older and had many additional health issues he battled for almost 2 years.
Yes they were different in many ways but the biggest difference in the 10 years between them was all the money raised for CANCER RESEARCH
Dad had to stop his original chemo treatment because the side effects were affecting his quality of life. We thought oh well that’s it but NO his doctor says oh here’s a new treatment we can try! This meant we had 12 more months together making memories!
