His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), became the Patron of Cure Cancer in 2015 and continues his patronage in his new role as Governor-General of Australia.

OUR PATRON
Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC became a Patron of Cure Cancer in 2019 through her role as the Governor of NSW. The 39th Governor of New South Wales, Her Excellency brings her deep commitment to education, youth leadership, human rights and social justice to the role in service of the people of New South Wales.
We thank both the Governor-General of Australia and the Governor of NSW for the continuous support and dedication they have shown our organisation and the work of our researchers
We look forward to continuing our work together in making this the last generation to die from cancer.
