I've created this page because I want to make a difference.
In 2023 after an ongoing health battle my mum was diagnosed with a blood cancer. Its been my first time experiencing the emotional and physical journey that comes with this disease (and I'm not even the patient). Its cliche but mum is the strongest person I know and cancer does't pick and choose where it ends up.
The many hospital appointments has brought me closer to the amazing work nurses, surgeons, doctors and medical researches are doing to constantly update their knowledge and explore treatment plans. Its been challenging not being able to fix 'cancer' so I am constantly trying to find ways I can help.
At times this journey has questioned my own strength and I decided I wanted to take part in a challenge for myself but in a way helping others. I am not doing this for speed or some personal record. I just want to cross that finish line for my mum.
