JAYD Swimwear rallies behind Madi Armstrong’s Swim for a CURE fundraiser
By The Cure Cancer Team | 17 June 2026
Founded for women who feel at home in the water, JAYD creates performance-led swimwear designed for movement, comfort and confidence. Now, the brand is using its connection to the swimming community to support a cause that is deeply personal to Madi.
Madi’s Swim for a CURE fundraiser is in honour of her late father, whose experience with cancer has strengthened her commitment to raising funds for research. As a Swim for a CURE ambassador, Madi is using her platform as an athlete to help support Cure Cancer’s mission to back brilliant emerging researchers and fund bold new ideas across all cancer types.
Taking place on Sunday 12 July at Palm Beach Parklands, Queensland, JAYD’s community fundraising event will include a guided swim led by Madi, with 750m and 1500m options available. Tickets are $50 and include entry to the swim, a Swim for a CURE t-shirt and swim cap, with ticket proceeds going directly to Cure Cancer.
Spectators are also welcome, with the morning set to include an exclusive viewing of Madi’s mini-docoseries, followed by the swim, post-swim coffee and a JAYD pop-up shop.
This is a community-led fundraiser organised by JAYD Swimwear in support of Cure Cancer, following on from this year’s Swim for a CURE campaign. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to Cure Cancer, helping fund the next generation of Australian cancer researchers.
Whether you join on the day, cheer from the sidelines or make a donation, your support will help Madi honour her dad’s memory and contribute to a future where fewer families are impacted by cancer.
