100 Miles For 'Cure Cancer'

100 Miles For 'Cure Cancer'

It's been a short while, so I've once again partnered with the Cure Cancer team to support their ongoing battle to cure cancer! 👊

On Friday, 16th May 2025, I will be 1 of only 400 people attempting to run the inaugural UTAMiler in the Blue Mountains, Australia!

With a distance of 161.5km (100+ Miles), a whopping total elevation gain of 7,290M+ , and a cut-off time of 44.5 hours - this will be by far the most formidable challenge I have ever faced.

Mount Everest is 8,848M, so you could say it's not too far off running up Mount Everest! 😅

I will start on Friday at 5am, run all day, through the night, into the sunrise, and aim to hopefully finish on Saturday afternoon before the sun sets again!

Pain thresholds will be well and truly pushed, and some very dark places will be revisited repeatedly, especially when that sun goes down! 🥴

To make it all worthwhile, we're hoping to raise awareness and collect a few small donations for Cure Cancer along the way.

Even the smallest donations add up, so $5-10 is more than enough and greatly appreciated. 🙌

We thank you in advance for your support, and I look forward to hopefully reaching the 99.9-mile mark with half a smile on my face! 🤞 😬
