About Kate

Kate Jenkinson is one of the most sought after actors in the country.

Kate has been in constant work since she graduated from WAAPA in 2004 winning the Nigel Rideout Award. 

Her professional debut was Julia in Zastrozzi for Black Swan Theatre Company.  She was then a regular on the Channel 10 comedy series The Wedge from 2005 to 2007.  Since then she has appeared on TV in Thank God You’re Here, Canal Road, Forgotten Cities, Newstopia, Bogan Pride, Rush, Satisfaction, Tangle series 1, 2 & 3, Whatever Happened to that Guy?, Wilfred II, Lowdown, City Homicide, Home and Away, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, House Husbands, Offspring series 2, 3, 4 & 5, The Time of Our Lives, The Ex-PM series 1 & 2, Five Bedrooms series 1 & 2,  Doctor Doctor series 4 and as Pat Carrol in Olivia: Hopelessly Devoted To You.

Kate also played lead roles in the hit series Killing Time opposite David Whenam, The Straits with Brian Cox, Hiding opposite James Stewart, Super Fun Night opposite Rebel Wilson as Allie Novak in Wentworth series 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 and most recently in the title role Grace in Amazing Grace.  On stage Kate has appeared in Don Juan in Soho for MTC, Secret Bridesmaid's Business and played Elaine Robinson opposite Jerry Hall in The Graduate. 

Feature films include Fatal Honeymoon directed by Nadia Tass and The Heckler directed by Ben Plazer which won Best Ensemble Cast at 2014 L.A. Comedy Film Festival.
